Anyone have any great ideas about things I can do for my kids' preschool Staff Appreciation Week? I'd love to do something really fun/creative but also inexpensive... Any fun ideas?? I'd like to do something both for their specific teachers, but also for all the staff...

What can I do next?

Hi Elyse,

I am doing kind of what I did last year which is do a theme each day. I have 4 teachers to buy for but since you are doing it for the school it could be easier for example:

Monday- Muffin Monday take in muffins

Tuesday- You take the cake! You can bake a cake for them to share!

Wednesday- You are out of the this World Wednesday- take in a bag of Milky Ways for the teachers to Share

Thursday-Thirsty Thursday- Send drinks for the teachers to share at lunch or Thankful Thursday.. you can do cards as well on this day..

Friday- Free Lunch Friday.. You could make a pot of soup and take in sandwiches or

Flower Friday- My daughter made pens with flowers on them in little pots they are so cute.. We got the stuff from Dollar Tree!

Fabulous Friday- Send notes to all the teachers telling them how great they are..

Hope these help!

I used to work at a daycare, and my favorite gifts were gift cards and lotions. Handmade cards from the kids are great to put on display in the classsroom (I had a bulletin board just for pics and cards from the kids). I know lotions seems cliche, but as many times as I washed my hands, I went through tons of lotion! Gift cards to Target, Walmart, or Starbucks are great ideas! Or to their favorite restaurant or a movie theater. It doesn't have to be a big amount. A $5 Starbuck's gift card is well appreciated! We always loved it when breakfast was provided for us! So if you want to do something for the whole staff, bring in a fruit tray, or breakfast burritos, or bagels. So sweet of you to want to do something! I never expected to get gifts or anything, but it was so sweet and appreciated when I did!

Heres what I am doing- I bought little metal pans on the dollar aisle at target- then Im putting 2 mini can cokes in each, another snack- maybe micro popcorn and I made personalized candy bar wrappers to put on Hershey bars. Then Im putting a 5.00 gift card in each basket. Prob to half price books or target. Add some sredded paper and a card and its a cute, inexpensive gift. Its not alot, but enough to say thank you.
