I feel like I am posting this link left and right, but it is my favorite for any food-related questions. It tells you when you can introduce solids, gives some sample 'schedules' for feeding, tells you at what age different solids can be introduced... If she is already eating cereal, she should be able to eat baby foods though. I started my DD on cereal around 4.5 months, and on actual baby food at around 5.5...

Start with the Stage 1s and see what she likes!
She's ready for solids if she's taking that much formula. Most eat 3 meals/day by 6mos with bottles in between.

you know your baby better than anyone so its really up to you. I have 3 kids and each started at a different time. the earliest was 3 almost 4 mons. start off with something lite like fruits then gradually start with others try not to give too many different foods in the same week just in case he/she has a reaction to it. good luck

How old is she? She eats every 2 hrs? My I feel for you...

We started our daughter on cereal at 4 mos and baby food at 6 mos. Our pediatrician recommended starting with veggies first then fruits.

You can start adding a lunch time cereal too.

This is what I did for both my babies and it worked great.
4 months: b-fast and dinner puree (fruit or vegetable)
Bottles: 4/8oz bottles/day (every 4 hrs) - I would do 6:00am, 10:00am, 2:00pm and then bedtime - 6:00pm

6 months: added cereal to bfast and dinner puree (cereal really constipated my kids but the fruit/veggie purees didn't so I started cereal later.)
Bottles: - same as above (it will actually stay this way until 1 yrs old and they wean off and go to milk)

7-8 months - added 'lunch' puree (so at this age they were then having bfast, lunch, dinner purees, cereal and the 4/8oz bottles a day).

I was told to not 'up' the bottle amount (no more than 8oz per bottle), but to up the 'food' (as they get older). Always check w/your pediatrician too.

Good luck! :)

You didn't say how old your baby is but it sounds like a good time to start. My oldest didn't start getting into solids until 7-8 months. However, my youngest is a chubster and by 6 months to the day we started her on solids. She devoured them :) She also completely weaned herself off formula before she was a year old. Some kids just develop faster than others. But the docs really don't recommend starting them before 6 months old.
