I am going to be starting my daughter in daycare in the next month. We just had our orientation and I will need to label her bottles, bottle lids, clothing, etc. The women at the center said you can buy some durable labels online. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

I ended up ordering from stuckyou.biz. Unfortunately, it will take 2-3 weeks to get them. I am not sure what I am going to do in the interim if they don't get here in time. Any suggestions for something to tide me over for a week?

I've used Stuck on You for all of our labels.

Without a doubt!!! Mabel's Labels at http://www.mabel.ca

She is out of Canada, but charges normal shipping charges to the US. I like them for so many reasons: First being they don't come off in the dishwasher or washing machine - but, if you NEED to take it off then you can. Also, there are a lot of sizes. I use the normal (big) size on bottles, food containers, etc. I use the small labels on things like bottle lids, paci holder, and clothes labels.

You can also buy clothes iron-on labels but I found that just the normal labels work good on clothes tags.

She's pricey but I figure it's worth it not to have to put a label on every day!

For clothing, Stuck On You is the easiest and they don't usually come off, even if you just stick them on (they have sew on and iron on options as well). For bottles and lids, I just used a regular labeler. They started to fall off after several washings in the dishwasher, but I would just put a new one on at that time.

The label makers are great for bottles, lids, diaper cream, etc. and very affordable. I bought one for $20 at Wal-mart and love it. It's DYMO LetraTag. I have labels on bottles that have gone through the dishwasher every day for the past 3 months and not come off yet. They don't stay on sippy cups quite as well. Make sure you buy the plastic tape to use for bottles. I also ordered from Mable's Labels and they work great, but they are expensive.
