To be honest I found the best deals at costco.....the kirkland brands are the ones i like the best. it may be worth it to keep it.
We've decided to stop our costco membership this year. It just seems expensive because we don't get there that often and seem to spend a lot each time we go. The only thing I'm having trouble with is the laundry detergent and paper towels. I usually buy the huge bin of Kirkland laundry powder and it lasts us for months. Whenever I buy paper towels at walmart they seem to be really expensive or the roll runs out in one cleaning. Any suggestions for good brands or stores to get a good deal on these items?

Have Costco look up how much you spent last year. It may be worth it to upgrade your membership, if you spent enough to get the membership fee back.
Hi,
I don't know if you have a CVS Pharmacy near you, but I definitely get great deals there I wait till the towels and Tide are on sale and use my coupons and get the CVS Extra Bucks. The last Scott's paper towels cost me 40 cents a roll and I stocked up on Tide this fall at $3 a bottle.
Best of luck!
Try Smart-N-Final. No membership and they sell in bulk like Costco. I think they are alittle cheaper and definately easier to get in and out of the store.
We gave up our Costco membership for 3 or 4 years and I found I didn't miss it. I realized that besides the cleaning supplies I was buying mostly junk food at Costco.

Look into Alice.com. Might not be the absolute cheapest price, but what I save in time, gas and NOT being tempted and picking up impulse buys makes it very much worth it to me.

Shipping is always free and you stock your shelf so you can just grab your favorite product when it's time. They don't always have them, but I love when they have stamps. Another great way to save time and gas.
