I cant have anymore kids because i got fixed after my 3rd boy and now i just want to try to get my body back to normal and im looking for advise maybe on creams or any way to get rid of them. Hi T.,

I actually take a heart supplement that is grape skin and grape seed based. (Both these products are known as "beauty" nutrients.) It works well with the heart because it actually heals the lining of the vascular system and gets rid of any plaque in the system. I have noticed over the last couple of years that my skin is more supple and my stretch marks are gone. I had stretch marks from my teens when I was put on steroids from a certain condition so they had been there a VERY long time and were visible in the summertime when I wore shorts. Like I said, it took a while as stretch marks are several layers deep but they are completely gone now.

A product you might want to look into is the cream by Revitol you can check it out at http://mhlnk.com/46E8CEED I've heard really good things about it online.

Another good one is the one by Dermology. Check it out at http://mhlnk.com/E0991D04 Right now they are even offering a free trial for it.

Time will make them appear lighter, but they will never go away. You can speak with a dermatologist about products/procedures that may help reduce the appearance. Unfortunately, they are genetic, and for many of us, they are our battle wounds for going through 9 months of carrying a child and birthing them.

Good luck.

That's a good question... I'm not sure what the answer is at this point but I recently heard of something called celltrixa (not sure of the spelling) but check it out, I hear it is amazing.

I hope this helps. Let me know if it does.

nothing gets rid of stretchmarks as they are tears in the collagen of the skin(under the skin scarring) think of a rubberband that is stretched too far that is basically what a stretchmark is and there is nothing that will get rid of them not even plastic surgery.plastic surgery can lessen the appearance of them but any plastic surgeon will tell you they would have to go to far into your skin to remove them and that would make them worse.over time they may fade but there is nothing you can do to get completely rid of them. losing weight if you are a little overweight can help them look a little better.also when a woman is pregnant she needs to use cocoa butter on the areas that stretch the most and drink plenty of water and not gain more weight than a dr suggests. also I hear that adding wheat germ to your diet while pregnant will help prevent them(I didn't know any of this when I was last pregnant-14 years ago) but since you are done having kids most likely the worst has been done(having stretchmarks with your first child and getting pregnant again seems to make them worse) if they are too bad all I can say is cover those areas up if you don't like them and don't want everyone to see them(that's what i do)don't feel bad a man can get them too if he gains too much weight too quickly and so cant women even if they have never had kids) and while its supposedly hereditary that't not always true as my grandma never got them, my mom had 5 kids and never had them, 2 of my sisters never had them in either of their pregnancies so it just depends on the elasticity of your skin and how much collagen you produce.

There is a product called StriVectin-SD...it is made for stretch marks. You can get it at most department stores (Macy's, Dillards, etc) its about $125 a bottle but it worked on my stretch marks!! Of course, they never completely go away, but mine are no longer pink or red. My mother had me 36 years ago and always had terrible marks on her stomach and I sent her some and they have faded considerably. IT WORKS. There are solutions out there, dont let anyone tell you NOTHING will work. Good Luck!!
