Hi ladies. Ok so i know that stretch marks cant be completely removed without expensive treatments, but what is the best cream or anything to prevent/reduce the appearance of stretch marks? I have a few from my first child and got a positive today for #2 (its still early so pray for us that it sticks :o) and just wanted to know so i can start now lol. Thanks mamas!
Congrats! I've got 6 kids and 7 grandkids. Cocoa butter is great; any lotion that provides a lot of moisture...use it constantly. If you get em, love em anyway....you definitely earned them! Best of luck.
I was 18 when I was pregnant with my son and I wish I was smart enough to think about the after effects...stretch marks. I started off putting cocoa butter, but got lazy as my stomach grew larger and larger. I was proud that I only had one before I gave birth...after though is when the scars appeared. I think that putting on creams help, but it iwll never stop you from getting them. I think that stretch marks are partially genetic. I have friends with 2 kids and are skinnier then before their kids and no stretch marks. I also have friends who tried everything in the book and are still trying to lose the weight and get rid of the stretch marks from years ago. Just try what you can, but don't be let down if the results aren't what you are hoping for. You got a blessing out of it and that's all that matters!

CONGRATS!!! I am the mommy of three and would love to tell you that I found the answer to stretch marks, but I didnt LOL! At 5 foot 2 and babies that ALL weighed over 9 pounds there was nothing I could do to stop them! I have learned to look at them as more battle scars - a battle that I lived thru and survived :) My body may not be perfect any longer, and its so NOT the one I had in my early 20's but this body gave me three miracles and that makes my body an amazing peice of equipment no matter the scars or not! SO be blessed and happy with what your body can do! And I will keep you and yours in my prayers!
