Nothing will make them go away - but Strivectin cream will halp fade them. I buy it at Costco - it's so much cheaper there. Ulta also carries it. It is also now being raved as a great wrinkle cream - so it's like 2 for 1!
I was wondering if anyone has found an effective way to remove stretch marks? I am open to any suggestions.

I do not believe there is a way to remove them. Some people are more prone to them.
During my pregnancy 14 yrs ago, I lathered myself in cocoa butter and vitamin e oil. I am one of the fortunate ones without stretch marks but I don't know if what I did actually prevented them or not.
To this day, I am a lover of vitamin e oil. I know for a fact it is great because I had a hysterectomy back in 2001. I faithfully used my e oil and you can hardly see my scar right now.
So. I second the vitamin e oil.
C. I used "Palmers" stretch mark cream. The one thing I remember while being in labor was one of the nurses commenting on the fact that I didn't have any. I gained 67lbs. with my little girl so I am a stong believer that it works. I did see some of the post where women said they watched "Dr." shows and there is no way but surgically but I tend to disagree or maybe I just wasn't proned to strectch marks. Either way Good Luck!!!! And it's your body, if you feel more comfortable trying to get rid of them, then more power to you. It's hard for me to believe that these Mom's that are telling you "it's your body, embrace it" don't do one thing to try to improve their own bodies. No creams for the face or anything like that???...
As far as I know, there is no way to remove them.
I had them on my thighs after pregnancy and used Bio Oil and they are gone (you can get it at CVS or Walgreens)! :-)
I agree with the mom who said use the Vitamin E oil. with my first pregnancy I put it on every night in my belly area. I don't have a single stretch mark in my belly, however I got stretch marks in the areas where I did not apply the oil (butt, thighs and breasts) because of the weight gain during pregnancy, which was not too much but enough to cause them.
I'm pregnant again for a second time and this time I'm bathing myself in it! LOL, it won't get rid of the old ones but I sure as heck don't want new ones,
I buy my Vitamin E oil at Walmart or CVS, I use the ones that have 12000 IU or 56000 IU.
A tummy tuck! Hee hee, no seriously I think there is no way to actually remove them but you can make them less noticeable. But other than going for surgery, just consider them your badge of courage.
I just had a baby myself and a friend of mine told me to use walnut oil. I've just started using it not enough tiem to see the difference hope it works.
Yes, stretch marks are not fun. They were honestly the hardest part of my pregnancy. One of the nurses told me they aren't stretch marks they are 'glory marks' and I cried. Good luck on 'getting rid' of them or at least lightening them up a bit.
I have been using prefer-on. It takes a little while to start working but I am seeing good results.
I used Arbonne's rejuvenating cream. I have been selling and using Arbonne for 5 years now. It is great stuff. I used this cream all thru my pregnancy and never got a stretch mark. I have a friend who used it when she got stretch marks and it definitely helps repair the skin and gets them to fade. You have to use it everyday to see results, but over time it will help. So if you are not wanting to do anything drastic then this is a great cream. You can go to www.arbonne com if you have never heard about the company to check it out. If you want to get it or would like more information, just let me know and I can send you some stuff.
Good morning C.!
I have a botanically based skin care, health and wellness company.

Take care and God bless!

There is no way to remove strech marks with a cream. I was watching the show "The Doctors" and they were just talking about this. The only way to remove them is surgically. They become lighter and barely noticable but they will never go away so if I were you, I wouldnt waste your money on creams. You cant even prevent stretchmarks, its all a function of lovely heredity. I have my own that I hate!
I am only 26 and I've had two kids in 3 years. With my first pregnancy I was absolutely religious about Palmer's cocoa butter. I applied it about 8 times a day the whole pregnancy. Well the long and short of it is that it didn't help with that pregnancy and I didn't even try with the second one. I wish I had never wasted the money. I now look like I got mauled by a tiger from my belly buttom to my knees almost. I am so so so upset cause here I am a 26 years old and I'll never wear a bikini again unless I find a way to afford surgery. It sucks, but when I look at my boys I know it was a small price to pay. Sorry I can't help you but if you come up with a miracle, please let me know. Maybe we could start a charity to help all of us get surgery! :)
Learn to love your mommy body! Your stretch marks are a part of you now!
you cant remove them.. well not yet anyway, but you can put stuff on them to make them less visable. i use vitamin e oil.. and time.. time will make them fade
