YEARS ago I collected and loved polar bear stuff, not so much anymore.
But my business name is Polar Press ~ I do printing, graphic art, etc.... and I had a bear as a logo
I need some ideas, I want to design some magnets for my car and the only thing I can come up with is something like:
"Cold name for a hot company"
or
"We treat all our customers like hot stuff"
I guess I'm in a funk...........
It is SO much easier to create for others than yourself..

LOLCAT says: Send halp pweez!!

Since the nature of your company is printing and graphic art, I wouldn't do a tag line. Car signs are hard to read. Especially if they are too busy. I would create a visual impact that gets the message across that you are trying to send. I assume your message is - I do quality printing and am good at graphic design. So create a graphic design and a put your name, phone number, and underneath it list a few of your services in a very clear, easy to read way. It needs to be something you can easily read from 10 feet away. Honestly, when I see a clever tagline, I feel like it's an amatuerish company. It doesn't say quality to me. If I were you, I'd focus more on showing your talent as a printer, and graphic artist.

I totally agree with Tracy. I was in advertising for 16 years as a copywriter. In your situation, a strong graphic (I'm picturing a polar bear on an ice cube) will speak louder than words. On the car magnets, go with a dark background color with the phone number in white with a black outline on the numbers (make them BIG). I just did a couple for my husband's business and that was the easiest to read at a distance.
Good luck with your new business!

P.S.
Too bad you couldn't call it Polar X-Press :) (speedy printing & graphics)

Great advice. Also something to consider does the graphic or tag reflect what your company does. For example if I saw ice, I may think, well . . . ice or snow cones, not printing/graphic work. With the polar bear I would just be extremely deliberate to call out the fact this is a printing company. Maybe your logo with a few key services "Printing - Graphic Design- Promotional Pieces" then your website or phone #.

How fun to get to rebrand (or refresh the look) your company. Best of luck!

I resell Niapads - nicotinamide acne pads and their tag line is "Simple for Pimple (C)".

Try something along those lines like - Polar Press delivers like Polar Express --- Godspeed

I don't know if you've come up with any solutions, but what if the graphic was of a polar bear working a printing press or holding a flyer with your company information hence the name, polar press. Good luck and let us know what you came up with.
