B.,
Although I do not have a son with seizures, my ex-husband had them when we were dating in highschool through college. I can tell by my experience the more open and honest he was about it with his friends the more support they gave him. He had several around his friends and because of his openness, they new exactly what to do and were very understanding as to what was going on and got him the help he needed. He was able to wrestle and play football all throughout his school years. He has continued with his meds and is now 42 years old and has been seizure free since 1997. My ex-husband has had a completely normal life and continues to thrive through adulthood. Good luck and best wishes.
