My daughter is 20 months old and still she don't have a single tooth,is this a problem, should i consult this with her doctor? She in fact is a late bloomer, she is a active kid,and at times she puts her whole hand to her mouth, and likes to rub her gums on one or the other surface. She is bit fussy about eating her food. She doesn't like me feeding, wants to be independent, so most of the food is spilled out and wasted. so most of her nutrition is through cow's milk n mother's milk.could the lack of nutrition be a cause for late teething. By the way i also was a late teether.i remember my mom saying that i teethed at the age of 2 or so,could hereditary be the cause?

What can I do next?

Why on earth would she be getting most of her nutrition from milk at 20 mos? Have you seen what kids can grind up with their gums? Just make sure it's not a choking hazard.
Def check with her pediatrician as well.

she may cut them all at once. i dont think its anything to worry about though. and i dont think nutrition has anything to do with it. both of mine cut theirs very early. one by 5 weeks and one by 3 months. she will cut them when they are ready. i think it could be hereditary cause both of my boys cut them so young i am guessing genes played alot in this.

Check with her doctor, just to be safe. This will definitely relieve your fears. My kids also did not want me to feed them at that age. Finger foods was the key. We did diced fruit and veggies. Sometimes I bought the canned fruites and veggies and just gave them a little bit of that. Cheese, pasta, whole wheat or multigrain bagels (maybe with a little cream cheese on it). There are lots of foods that she can mash with her gums, so don't feel liek she has to be on baby food just because she doesn't have teeth.

My son is almost 14 mos & shows no signs of teething. I'm sure heredity is playing a role in her not having any teeth yet. I wanted to add, even though I don/t think it was your main question... I feed my son almost anything w/in reason & i'm suprised what he can handle w/out teeth. Some things I may steam a bit longer / mash just a little w/ a fork but don't be scared to give her food to try feeding on her own. Most kids seem to waste more than they actually eat, that seems pretty normal to me, teeth / no teeth.
