I am not supposed to do this (DH says it can be annoying to others when you "delight" about your spouse) but since you posted...
Hubby works six days per week most weeks, sometimes even seven. However when he is home (even in between work hours) he makes time to make the kids feel special. Yesterday, he left for work at 10 am...picked my eldest from school @ 330 and took her to Barnes & Noble...fed her ...dropped her home around 7p..went back to work ...came back home at 1130 pm left for work again at midnight back at 6am and STILL drove my dd to school.
At my request he would schedule a day off so I can have my girls' night with my friends
He is generous
For as long as he is home he will with bathtime and bedtime
He does not drink coffee YET he makes me coffee
Goes to daddy/daughter dances even when the girls always ignore him once they're there.
I never had to worry about the money being his (I've been a SAHM since 2007). In fact I have more say than he does.
He never took sides when I had a falling out with his mom.
Gave me free reign in naming my girls (My argument is that he already has the last name)
Does his own laundry
Does not expect the house to be clean
Does not expect food to be on the table
He is just a great guy overall. Not perfect but darn close enough! LOL
