If that is what i think it is where its like insure. for you when your prego. I had that and didnt like it one bit. My husband and I payed and payed every month but they keep turning down things they said was coverd. We called them after my son was born and told them that we had insure. and they still took out the money for a full year after i had called them. So they took 70.00 a month and never payed anything for my. So in total they took about 1200.00 plus the fist fees which was like 300.00 or 400.00 dollers.

If this is not what you were talking about i am so sorry i thought that is what you were talking about.

OH and i forgot to say we still payed the doctor 2000.00 at normal price and we are paying off a 7,000 bill to the hospital so to me it was not worth it at all. Please take my mistake and learn from it i know i have learned for next time.

I looked into that a couple of years ago when we didn't have pregnancy insurance and I'm totally convinced it was a scam. I'd stay well clear of it. It's a high pressure sales con and you'd be better off negotiating with your own Dr and hospital.

I looked into the maternity card when I was pregnant last year and I found that the midwife and the doctor I saw had never even heard of it and the hospital I used said they didn't accept it. I would pay cash upfront or apply for medicaid.

They have their own website at www.maternitycard.com. This should answer your questions. Have a good day!

I looked into it, but decided it was better just to get cash discounts for my services. If you call around to different OBs and hospitals, you will find a great variety in pricing. I chose Trinity Medical Center in Carrollton and got an awesome upfront price.

DON'T SIGN UP FOR IT!!!!

I did and it didn't cover anything for me... then, when I tried to get the "refund" they promised.. I got the run around...

Save your cash and ask for the "cash price" for any services you will need.
