Thoughts on the Kia Sorento?

So, I did a little research on this site and there was a previous question with 5 responses that were 3 stong pro and 2 strong con ... which leaves me in the same questionable boat.

As much as I love my 1996 Acura Integra, it is just too small now that we have a 3 year old and a newborn. Additionally, we go quite a few places with my parents so it would be highly convenient to be able to seat 6 or 7.

I've seen quite a bit of positive feedback about the 2011 Kia Sorento but was hoping for some advice from those of you "in the trenches". :)

Thanks, in advance!

If you decide to go with a Kia, DON'T go to premier Kia of Fremont. Horrible service and a bunch of liars! See my yelp review for full details along with other reviews that said the same. They are also one with Nissan Fremont.

My son got a Kia soul last february. Great teenage car. Sorry can't comment on the sorrentos.

we have a sorento and LOVE IT, it is good on gas and it has enough leg room for my daughter and for me to sit in the back with her, it has a good amount of trunk space in the back and a place to store things that stay in the car without anyone knowing about it, the middle consol is HUGE if you get the 3rd row it is SUPER small to the point we decided not to get it, we went from a 2008 dodge avenger to a kia sorento i would just lease it if you get it new though because the payments are around 100 less then buying it

DO NOT BUY A KIA!!! We had tons of problems with my husbands 06 sorento. then we got married and needed 3 rows (blended family) and the only thing we could qualify for was another kia so we got the sedona (van). kia's batteries are pattented so you can't just go to any auto zone and buy a battery, you have to go to the dealer. and i swear, our headlights go out about every 2 months. they are covered for a year so we just keep taking it back and they keep replacing them. the door handles randomly jam and the doors won't open, stuff will just fall off...just don't do it. i could go on and on. good luck!!!
