You should call poison control ASAP and see what they say.
My 18 month old little boy came in the bathroom while I was cleaning and grabbed the clorox cleanup off the counter. It all happened really fast b/c I don't allow the kids in the bathroom while I clean b/c of the fumes. But he grabbed the bottle and sprayed it before I made it to him. I tried to wipe out his mouth with my finger and then I made him drink water. He seems fine but of course I'm still worried about my little man! Has this ever happened to anyone? Should I take him to the dr?
Thank you Moms' for your help! I called poison control and they said that I did thr right thing by trying to wipe out his mouth and drinking water. The water diluted anything that was injested. He is acting fine and running around like a crazy person this morning, so I think we're good! Thanks again for all the help! Xoxo

Call your pediatrician to follow up just to be safe. Little stinker!
Like the other posters mentioned, call poison control. My daughter is notorious for eating random things. Even your pediatrician will consult poison control or direct you to call them. Besides, I know from experience, a pediatrician's office is not equipped to deal with ingestions. Poison control has always be an excellent resource. He's probably fine, but call just in case.

I'd call to see what they say, I'm sure it has a lot to do with how much got into his gut. Try to remember in the future that giving them water to drink after you think they've taken something dangerous can be VERY dangerous.... you are spreading more chemical into there bodies. I had a cousin that ate drano, and his mom put water in his mouth, and it ate his whole esophagus up, sad deal.
call poison control, they will know more than your doctor about that type of stuff...
Cleaning with vinegar eliminates this risk. Vinegar disinfects - plus is safe for kids to drink (it's even a home remedy for colds).
