Toddler Bandana

We are considering a train-themed b-day party for my son's 2nd b-day. What dimension should the bandanas be? The ones I've seen on-line for toddlers are 20" x 20" but when I fold it and try it on my son, it seems way too big.

What can I do next?

I know Hobby Lobby & other craft type stores have bandanas I believe they have different sizes. You might wanna ck there or maybe Party City or places like that. Good luck!

Cut them in half diagonally. I have a friend that did this for her party and it worked great.

My 19 month old son just celebrated "Go Texan" day at school. I got him a bandana at Hobby Lobby. I'm not sure of the dimensions but I folded it in half to make a triangle & then rolled the long end a few times before I tied it in him & it worked just fine. Hobby Lobby had bandanas for 89 cents I believe. If folding & rolling it doesn't work, you could try to trim it some. Best wishes! Sounds like a really cute theme!

I think that is the standard size. I have never seen bandanas in different sizes. If you think it is too big, just cut it down some (like on two sides). Try a little and then cut more if needed. If it is tied around the neck it shoudn't be noticable that is was cut.

You can find them in smalle sizes, I believe the smallest they come 16x16 or maybe it ws 18x18, you can try some novelty stores like Oriental Trading or even HObby Lobby carries them sometimes. Good Luck.

I as a mom do not like the idea of bandana's because they can end up around the neck. Why not go with a cap no strings and oh so cute. Any themed item can be printed or glued on. You can print something from the invitation's and glue them on with a hot glue gun. Also there is always stickers from the craft store etc.

But that's part of what's so cute...big old bandana on little guys. Enjoy the party!
