I agree that as long as when she is awake she doesn't have a fever and isn't acting abnormal that you should enjoy her naps and know that soon you won't have any of that time.
My five month old daughter has been sleeping alot the last three days. 3:00 pm till 7:00p.m then fell asleep at 10:00 pm till 9:00 a.m now she fell asleep at 3:00 pm and is still sleeping should i be worryed cause she is sleeping so much?? Isnt at 5 month they shouldnt be taking so many naps too? shell take up to 6 or 7 a day? should i be worryed or talk to my doctor about it?
Thank you everybody your awesome!!!! Dont know what i would do with out you...

She is more then likely ok. I have a 5 month old also he is not sleeping a lot but I am sure she is ok. He was sleeping a lot a couple months ago now he gets up more in the night then he use too. Just makr sure she is being herself.
Your baby is doing fine if she has no fever. Usually they are on a growing spurt so if she sleep alot and seems fine when she is awake, I wouldn't worry so much because one day she may not want to sleep at all. Also on a growth spurt they may eat alot. Unless she is crying alot or doesn't act herself, I would just enjoy the "time out" because it won't last long.

She is probably going through a growth spurt. Have you noticed that she is eating more? My son used to sleep alot for three days to a week when he was growing. I don't think you have anything to worry about if she is responsive when awake and still eating regularly.
My daughter slept like that at 5 months. Her sleep cycles woulf also vary from month to month. If you feel she is sleeping too much, just wake her up after 2 hours. Take into consideration that she may also be getting a cold or some type of virus. Babies usually sleep more if they are about ready to get something. She may not show symptoms, but could still be trying to fight off the onset of something. It never hurts to go to the doctor and most pediatricians have an ask a nurse hotline.
at 5 months babies still need about 15hrs of sleep a day. So it looks like she's getting that. If you are worried about the number of hours she is sleeping.
She should be getting about 11hrs a night MINIMUM.
You can try to break up her nap between 2 times. My Sons usually took a 2hr nap in the mid morning Like around 10am and then took an 1-1.5 hr nap in the afternoon Were in bed by 8pm and up again at 7-7:30am.
