I know them both & think you would be pleased with either. They both are very good, caring women. Best of luck!
Hi Moms,
Have been reading your referrals, and have narrowed down our choice to two. Dr. Carolyn Ashworth is one, Dr. Carolyn Evans is another. My daughter has developmental delays, and we hope to find someone who is up-to-date on the latest info when dealing with these issues. I have met both doctors, and they both seem great. Does anyone have experience with either? I was hoping to find one affiliated with Children's Hospital, but I was extremely impressed with Dr. Ashworth in our interview. Since we are leaving a much loved pediatrician with no clue on developmental issues, we want to be extremely careful with our choice. Thanks!

We haved used Dr. Carolyn Evans and North Dallas Ped for our twins since they were born 6.5yrs ago. Dr. Evans is a good physician, however, unless you can be selective with your appointments, you rarely get in to see HER. I will say, that when our son was as young as 3 we noticed he was a very sensitive/moody child. Long story, but she never really agreed he had any developmental/emotional issues. His preschool teachers encouraged us to seek expert assistance. The doctor's office was very helpful w/referrals though.
I use dr carolyn evans, my boys have add and adh and she has been so helpful in keeping them on track and i feel very comfortable with her, and she also has 3 locations..
Our daughter sees Dr. Evans, and we love her. We always see her for well checks. We have seen other doctors in the practice for same day sick child visits and have appreciated the professionalism and expertise of all the doctors in the practice.
Dr. Evans is highly regarded within the medical profession, and is wonderful about spending as much time as you need with her. She answers every question with the latest research findings coupled with common sense and humor - often sharing stories about her own parenting experiences with her son. Further, she helps keep it all in perspective.
I heard amazing things about Dr. Carolyn Evans. When my insurance changed I had to leave my pediatrician and I went to her. I was a very young mother and was not happy with the way she treated me like an idiot. So, I left and now pay the extra money to make sure I can see who ever I want and went back to my old prediatricaian Susan Hubbard. But, with that said my family is in the medical field and did lots of research and said Dr. Evans was one of the best!
Good Luck
Dr. Ashworth is fabulous. I have worked with her as a mother (my son went to her) and as a speech pathologist. I am very impressed with her in both capacities.
I do think that Carolyn Evans is an excellent doctor. My children go to a different doctor in the practice and we have always been extremely happy. We see Dr. Jason Moshier at North Dallas Pediatrics. I hope we are talking about the same Dr. Evans. My youngest son is legally blind and does have some issues and Dr. Moshier is awesome about it. Dr. Evans saw us in the hospital and when we were unable to get a appointment with out own Dr. I very much liked her.
