Tubal Reversals? - Philadelphia,PA

I feel your pain. I have that done when I was 30 after I had my daughter that is now 16. I met the man of my dreams we have been together for 10 years now and I had them reversed when I was 34. I am now 45 and never have had another child. My boyfriend wants a child more than anything and we went to the Reproductive Center and spent $36,000 and nothing happened. We have broke up recentely two times and are now back together. We love each other very much but John wants a child of his own more than anything. We have decided to do a surrogant mother if we can find someone and it is going to cost us a lot of money, I don't know if we can afford it but we are going to try. It has been a toll on our relationship and I regret that I ever did that. So I guess I am telling you from experience that it did not work for me I have tried two times. Good luck with yours. R.

I never had it done. I too had me tubes cut burned and tied. You might want to talk to your Dr. about this. I thought that once the were cut and burned you couldn't get a reversal done. But then again I am not a Dr.

I would really consider talking to your Dr or a specialist on the subject.

I had a Tubal reversal in 2004 and Jan of 2007 i had a beautiful baby girl.I don't know your story,but i just had the rings so it was pretty much nothing to have done. I did have a few Hsg done to fixed the blockages for scarring,but other than that everything went just fine. there is an amazing dr in Nc who specializes in just tubal reversal in your case were they was burned ,cut. if you search Dr Berger under tubal reversal he will be able to give you all the answers you seek. good luck please keep me posted

I personally never had it done, but a friend of mine did. She had the tubal done after her 3rd and then decided to have it reversed a couple years later. It was successful and she has a beautiful almost one year old 4th child.
