For my potty trained child I use incontinence pads. Those are absorbent pads you can find in the depends aisle at the supermarket. They work great to catch the occasional accident and I "double up" as in layer a pad with a sheet then another pad with another sheet on top, so if she has a midnight accident, I just rip off one layer, throw the sheet in the washer and the pad in the trash.
Good luck.

When we went out of town and I forgot the mattress protector, a garbage bag worked in a pinch. I put a towel over it to make it more comfortable and less noisy and then the sheet over that.

a couple really thick blankets until you can get a mattress cover. That's what I did for my son. :)
Hope this helps!

Waterproof mattress covers are inexpensive. I would layer for middle of the night changes. First a mattress cover, then a sheet, then a mattress cover, then another sheet, topped off with a folded sheet for small leaks. In the morning I would only have to take off the wet layers and her bed would still be made for the next night.

Go to Walmart and get a plastic mattress cover. They are inexpensive, and will protect the mattress entirely. You can also put a small piece of plastic on top of her sheet, with a small blanket or towel over that. As long as she doesn't move around too much in the night, that will save you having to strip the sheet every day and save on washing.

Can you get to a fabric store? I believe they sell waterproof fabric and about 1 quarter to a half yard should be enough.

i have read most of the other post suggesting water proof bads and such. You really didnt state much about the situation so parden me if you have tryed what i will suggest. Try setting a time that she is cut off liquids and lessen them like if she is drinking glass after glass make it half a glass and cut it down stop her at supper and make her potty alot or atleast try before bed. also they have pull ups for incase matters underjams i think is what they are called. have her wear one at night it is likwe underwear and if she has an accident its eaasier to deal with. Good luck.

If she's still wetting the bed, keep her in pull-up during nap time and bed time.

When you say you "have no waterproof sheet", do you mean you can't afford a new one? If that is the case check at goodwill or on line for free things.

Blessings.....

well, you could buy one at target or ace hardware. if you can't for whatever reason, try cutting open a garbage back and sticking that under her sheet. good luck!

If your near a wal-mart store or something like that you can buy an infant waterproof crib "sheet". It's a smaller pad you lay down that worked great when my little one was an infant. You could get 2 and lay them down under the sheet. They are "smaller" but still pretty big. It seems walmart makes an actual waterproof sheet too. The link below it is $15

You never said your situation, if they are just too expensive (I understand, I just shelled out $69 for a 10 yr warranty mattress protector) or if you are at a relatives/friends house and forgot it.

Get a waterproof mattress cover, like the others have suggested. Much easier to clean than putting a plastic tablecloth under the sheet. But both would do the job!

They make waterproof matress covers or you can get waterproof mattress pads. When my mom would have the grandkids spend the night, she use to put a trash bag under the sheet to protect her matress. I don't know how the kids slept, it was the loudest thing in the world everytime they moved, but it worked.

I have waterproof mattress covers on al the mattresses. my oldest has a problem wetting the bed. I would not do the other suggestions. A mattress cover covers the mattress. With the other options people suggested if your daughter pees on the bed it could still get in the mattress.
Also we have a medicine that my doctor recently gave to my son to help him prevent having accidents. He hates taking it. The alternative is peeing in the bed so I make him take it. It is the same size as an asprin.
