Are there any vehicles on the market that can fit 3 adults and 2 carseats, that's not a mini-van or an SUV?
You really do need something with three rows. Whether it's an SUV, minivan, or crossover is up to you.
I think you will be hard pressed to find a sedan with a wide enough back seat to fit either 2 carseats side-by-side or an adult in the middle seat between two carseats. I had a Dodge Durango and an old Ford Explorer, both 2 row SUVs, and it was a contortionist act to squeeze my size 10 hips between two carseats in the backseat. Even then, there wasn't room to lean back properly and safely in the seat and I could barely manage to reach and buckle my seatbelt. In our current Hyundai Santa Fe, it is not possible to squeeze at all.
You're going to have to look for a small SUV with 3 rows, like a GMC Arcadia or a Honda Pilot, or a mini-van.

I'm not sure there is a vehicle that can fit that many without being an SUV or minivan. Our Honda Accord had 6 inches between 2 car seats in the back. My MIL complained that we'd take 2 cars to do everything when she visited (before we got the Odyssey). She did't believe she wouldn't fit back there until I actually took a tape measure and showed her.
I'd say no, because carseats are bulky.
My mom, sister (24), daughter (9), and niece (3) are all going to South Carolina from MD on Thursday for my sister's wedding. We are taking my car - a 2012 Toyota Camry. It will be a tight fit, but we're all on a budget and it helps if we take fewer cars. Plus mine is hybrid and one tank will get us all the way there. there is no way we could do it with 2 carseats though. My niece is in a high back booster now that takes less room.

i had a pontiac vibe before i got my pilot and it fit all 4 of us just fine. the best thing you can do is go to different dealers and see what style you are looking for.
