Hi S. G,
How odd that I work for HP too. In Colorado Springs? Hee. You're probably in my department.
Anyway, I think you are also the person that said you are losing a lot of hair. And now you're tired. Not to go into too much detail about my own roller coaster ride with this, but has your doctor run a thyroid check on you?
Lots of moms experience temporary hypothyroidism post-partum. The hormones will do that to you - and losing your hair, extreme exhaustion, dry skin, depression, irregular periods, mysterious aches and pains in feet and joints - all coupled together could mean that your thyroid isn't working properly. I went undiagnosed for over a year - ask for that blood check NOW!
Your TSH levels could vary but don't let the doctor tell you that 5 is normal, either. People can experience these symptoms when TSH levels are anywhere above 1. Good luck and let me know how you make out.
