I am looking for someone or a business in the Long Beach area that can transfer a home video on VHS onto DVD.

Costco just started offering this service. Check it out online or in your local warehouse!
Hi V.,
Another vote for Costco. I just did one from my dad, but it was old home movie film of him from college - not even vhs. It is $20 for two dvds and they can fit alot of film on the dvds. Also, if you need extra copies, I think it is around $7.
After Christmas, I will be taking my other films in. I can't wait to see my dad's face when he opens his gift. Merry Christmas!
Hello,
I know Fromex Photo Lab in Long Beach on 2nd Street does VHS to DVD transfers. The phone number is: ###-###-####. The address is: 5277 E. Second Street L.B., CA 90803. They are great and can do just about anything photo/video and digital. They actually know what they are doing instead of the drug stores that just have basic knowledge at best.
Also, you can always purchase a VHS/DVD recorder at Costco or any electronics store that can VERY EASILY record your VHS to DVD with the push of a button. The cost for a machine like that is about $150 to $250 depending on the brand and quality. I have done that for many of my VHS tapes and am so happy to have back ups of everything and/or be able to get rid of the bulky tapes and just store DVD's. And, the machine replaces your VHS and DVD players, so you only have to have one. You can use it everyday to play or record movies. It's a great buy!
Well, good luck what ever you do! Happy Holidays!
