hi, K.!
Please, check out this site: www.granolachicks.com for other "green" moms. :) I've gotten some great home-cleaning ideas on here and learned how I can contribute to a better world without having to be a "hippie". lol
Anyway, the best products, I can think of, to clean with are baking soda and vinegar. I use vinegar to clean the windows, and it does a FANTASTIC job; better than Windex.
On other things...If you use disposable diapers, Seventh Generation diapers are earth-friendly. I am looking forward to planting our garden of veggies and some fruits. My kids are SO excited about this, too. It'll be healthier for us and a great learning experience for all of us. I am also cleaning out my garage and making plans for recycling bins. I want my kids to be better citizens and earth-friendly.
Anyway, Granola Chicks has some really great ideas for you. If you ever need any earth-friendly party favors, let me know. :) Take care!
