Ways to Decrease Cellulite?

Any good ways that you have been able to decrease leg cellulite or at least make it look a little more decent? I am 5"5 and 140 lbs...big behind/hips and upper legs. Drink up to 100 oz of water a day...work out 5 days a week for 30-40 minutes a day. Partly running And partly jillian michaels 30 day shred. The cellulite in my legs is just really not cute....any ideas? Yes it is extrememly genetic...

Unfortunately I dont think there is a cure. I suffer from the same situation.
It's fat cells, the only way to get rid of it is to get rid of every single bit of body fat you can.
That wont happen with me, I like food too much :(

I have cellulite and I am a pretty skinny girl, so go figure. Here is what has worked for me: combine some weight training with your cardio. If you firm those muscles (I'm guessing you are talking hamstring, quads and gluteus) you WILL see a reduction in cellulite. Get a loofah, soap it in the shower, and scrub. Also apply lotion after.

My second best treatment: I ignore it. Seriously. I figure I can't see the back of my thighs, so I pretend like it's not there. The only people it can bother is those who can see it, and I'm not one of them. Oh well.

Lastly, whenever I am on holiday, eating healthy and getting plenty of exercise, whether swimming, kayaking or walking, it definitely lessens. So I think stress and unhealthy eating habits play a role. Just my .02.

Years ago, I had a natural treatment for celullite and this is what she did.
1. Mud messages with a suction machine in my thights.
2. Then sauna to sweat.
3. And most import rule she said. You have to have regular bowl movements. At least 3 times a day. You eat 3 times a day, right? So it makes sense.to go 3 times a day. She gave me a bottle of Aloe Vera pills and had to take 2 pills a day. She said the celullite forms because of all the toxins in the intestine due to bad blood flow.

I have heard that exercising while the cellulite is present only traps the stuff between the layers and makes it extra hard to get rid of so you might talk to a trainer about that.

I had to stop working out with my legs for a long time and try to lose weight first. As my weight went down my legs looked smoother. After a while I was able to start exercising again. Then I got hurt and can't exercise anymore.

I think I saw a show the other day about this topic and they were talking about how all the products on the market are lies and that people are spending millions of dollars to get rid of it and they are only topical lotions and they do not do anything to help.

It's true for me, I've Been fat and skinny and went inbetween and had 3 kids. Now that I eat more fruit a day than recommended .I don't even have one little dimple, I used to0 have that.....even when I was skinny.

I drink water too but fruit is definitely the missing factor

massage therapy on thighs--firm pressure. I also bought the reebok ugly trainer shoes and those helped tone my thigh when I walked 30 minutes a day in them for 3 months.
