I watch a set of twins and would like to know at what age it would be okay to start putting them into exosaucers? While I change or feed one I need something to entertain the other one. Would this be a good solution or if you have other ideas, please let me know.
Thanks from a mother of teens, so infants were a long time ago. LOL

So What Happened?

Thanks for all the responses. I am going to start putting them in when I am feeding or changing the other one. Hopefully, it will help a little. LOL

My daughter was about 4 months old and had full head control. That's how I showered! LOL

My twins were around 4 to 4.5 months old when I started using a saucer. They could hold thier heads up but were still pretty small in the seat so I had to put a blanket in front or behind them to keep them steady. Just remember not to keep them in to long because they aren't using thier feet to support themselves, so most of thier weight is on thier inner thigh area, ouch!
Enjoy the twins they are so fun!!

I have a 4 1/2 year old boy and a 1 year old girl. With both of my kids I put them in an exersaucer as soon as they were able to hold their heads steady. At first I had to put a blanket around their back/front so they weren't flopping around in the seat, but it worked for us.

You might also want to consider one of those floor mat jungle gym things. You can lay one down under it and (s)he can bat at the toys while you change the other.

Hope this helps,
Melissa

I put mine in when they could hold their heads up a bit. I'd just put blankets behind and at first their boppy pillows in from to give them something to lean on and look at the toys. They were still a little unsteady when I first put them in, but I think it helped strengthen their necks as long and you wrap them in good so they aren't flailing around. And just keep it short and stay next to them.
Just give it a try, and if it doesn't work for them, give it another couple weeks and try again.

They have these things called bebepods or another brand is a bumbo. they are just little sitters you can by trays for them and everything. I love them. it will sit from birth(which is not exactly true becuase they need head control) to fourteen or more months. It worth looking into. they run about fourty dollars and the trays are ten.i never used the exacauser things it was the bumbo or a bouncer.
