Now that we've all established that we are addicted to this site, are there any others you feel compelled to check? I pull up Google News everyday and check the us, world, and entertainment news. I like to know what's going on and alot of my conversations with my husband start with "Did you hear about____?" Great convo starter. What other sites do you go to daily? Are there other answer/response sites like this for differant subjects? A lot of the questions I ask are not kid related, so, I think there must be a more apporpriate venue. I've looked at discussion sites but they are way too cluttered and busy. What sites have you checked today?
Just email and news and necessary sites. All the other 'fun mommy' sites are full of rude people it seems.

msn for the news, but find that it's too repetitive at times.

& I usually link to the daily emails I receive from: Better Homes/Gardens, I Village, & 2 inspirational/motivational websites. The rest are hit/miss, depending on their content.
Well, I write for www.morethanmothers.com, but for my own entertainment, I love www.awfulplasticsurgery.com! It's sort of scary and yet hilarious, too. I also have a love/hate relationship with facebook and I check msn.com for news stuff, though generally I don't like reading the news - too depressing!
I also get daily emails from groupon and living social. A friend of mine recently told me about a cool site called www.slickdeals.net, that puts together lots of internet deals (like from groupon) all in one place. It's pretty cool!

Newsvine is my other daily check. I like Newsvine because you can post your own article or comment on other people's articles or link to a News story from MSNBC and comment.
I love the American Pregnancy Association, but I can't get on there from work, so I check that one a couple times a month from home.
