.... summery colored nail polish?
Having red hair, I stay faaaar away from anything pink (althought I LOVE a hot 'Barbie' pink!) I've been wearing this el cheapo nailpolish brand, it's kind of a hot orange (not orange-orange, it's kind of pink-y too) Like a bright bright orangey coral. I can't even read the name of the stuff because it's all worn out, I wear it ALL the time. My daughters this morning said 'mom, can't you switch it up a little? You always wear the same thing'.... yep, they're right.
SO, I'm looking for something new. I'm also SUPERRR white, so certain colors look really bad on me (like yellow just makes it look like my nails have fungus or something, ew).
So what's YOUR favorite summery nail polish color?
I'm all over hot pink. Sometimes with a little glitter top coat. :)

Im very light skinned as well. I like anything glittery. Right now I have a light blue glitter on and it looks very summery. I also like the whites with opal in them. They look whitish but shine like a rainbow...I didn't describe it very well but Im still on my first cup of coffee :)
I've been really into purples & blues this spring/summer. They're showing a ton of blue, yellow (which I know you said doesn't work for you), green (probably also not a great idea), & orange, which is your usual. Try some sparkly purple!! BTW, I definitely do not hate red heads w/ pink nails. I actually found if I use a bright pink & then layer a sheer, sparkly almost baby pink on top of it I get a very cool, kind of irridescent color that's not shockingly bright or anything, but just happy looking.
I always stick to the classic french... that way I never have to worry about my clothes clashing with my nails. I only do colors for holidays.
4th of July is right around the corner... do something patriotic and shock them :)
OPI Pompeii Purple.
Turquoise Blue / Teal Blue :-) with your coloring it will look Great - I wore it for my wedding, it was my "something blue" LOL went Perfect with the Aruba Beach wedding.... I still wear it now, almost always have blue toes :-)
My favorite is just what you have, a tropical orange color. I also love a beautiful deep red, I think it looks so great with a tan. How about a purple for you? BTW, I am not a redhead but my best friend is and I think she looks gorgeous when she wears pinks, oranges and reds. I think pink looks great with red hair. I think yellow and green nail polish is just gross on any skin tone!!
I like greens, purples and blues. The Nicole brand by OPI at Target has some pretty colors.
I'm a sucker for the french or a deep blood red!
I have always said that toes were meant for fun colors. My daughter and I use a lot of blues, greens, and oranges. My personal favorite is a shiny silver that we got from AVON. It looks like you have aluminium foil on your toes!
I am a huge fan of french manicures - esp on my toes!

I haven't had colored polish on my nails in years.
But on the occassion I do color on my toes - OPI has some great colors!

Right now I'm in love with melon.
But Today my nails are platinum. My teenager says it's very summery.
I wouldn't recomend it if you're pale. The melon would look nice though. And a good french manicure is always beautiful, especially when they use a translucent pink rather then opaque tan as the base. I think they call that an American Manicure.
Sorry, but my favorite is the color you described. The one you want to switch from. :( If I HAD to switch, I'd probably go with a bubble gum pink on my toes... and something else on my fingers. Not sure what. A deeper color maybe, like cherry?
Bright orange or coral! 2nd favorite is blue. I like to wear earth tones in the winter. I also match w/ the holidays - black for halloween, rust for Thanksgiving, green or red for Christmas etc.
I like wearing blues and purples on my toes. I'm super white too so I have the same color problem you do but I love my "weird " colors like blue , purple , green, I wear a lot of green clothes because of my hair (auburn ) and eyes (hazel green) . So I wear nail colors that match that.

I know the color you described, and it probably looks really good for the summer with red hair and fair skin. Right now I like a color called coral, it's pinky.

I own about 40 bottles of polish. I do nails, and I've just gotten quite a variety over time. Most are OPI. This is a list of a few colors that I think you can't go wrong with regardless of skin pigment, hair color Etc. They are just HOT colors.
