outside of the pure joy of seeing my daughter being soo happy with every thing she got!! from clothes to toys she loved it all!!!. then seeing my husband light up. my favorite gift was literally everything i got! i got the naked 1 palette, a kat von d sinner palette, a really awesome hair dryer, toaster, can opener, hand mixer, curling wand, make up box, nikon, sephora make up, dishes, silerware and more then i can even remember!!! i havent felt this spoiled in so long that i was overwhelmed. it felt great. im soo thankful!

the gifts were wonderful, but the JOY came from the time together. 3 FULL days of JOY! Wonderful.....& glorious.
& I took today off.....so I'm enjoying a quiet house while my younger son & DH cut firewood. It's starting to rain...here in midMO....so my Peace & Quiet will be ending soon. :)
I loved most seeing my kids eyes light up :). They were spoiled rotten this year for sure!
I was beyond spoiled this year! I got my Kitchen Aid stand mixer, Keurig coffee maker, a new chain for my diamond that my husband got for our 6th anniversary, perfume, a new purse, some clothes, etc.
Normally I get one thing - and that's all I expect...because the kids like to see us open things. My hubby went above and beyond this year - he did it at our anniversary too!
My favorite was my two oldest declaring best Christmas ever! See it wasn't the gifts it was just an amazing Christmas of no fighting, no dysfunction, it was as close to perfect our family can achieve.
Then I had to send them off to their dad's. *headdesk*
I got 2 gifts, a new Coach handbag, and a home made 2012 calendar my kids made me :) The calendar had to be my favorite (dont tell my husband) LOL
I got Ulta money and it's just enough to buy the Naked2 to go with my Naked (comes out in Jan) YAYY!!!!! Plus I got a hand painted wine glass that is SOO me with a bottle of wine and my favorite bath boms from Lush! Go my fam go my fam but the BEST BEST BEST was some hand made photo collages from my crazy talented sister from a photo shoot we did with the kids last year!
My mom gave me a gift certificate for a facial. :)
I got the kindle fire, and honestly i didn't want it before, now in 3 days (my family had christmas early) I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I read alot and it is nice to have all my books in one place. Some other gifts I got that I really loved was $100 gift card to lowes, we are in the middle of moving, it will be used! and a pre paid riding trip for my family to go hourse back riding at a local farm form 1.5 hours! I love when people put real thought in to gifts and not just what they see on sale!
I loved everything I got, because I basically just picked out what I wanted from 1 gift catalog, made a list, and gave it to hubby. And that works out better than him trying to figure out on his own what to get me, because if he does, it will end up being either perfume (which I never wear), really nice jewelry (which I never get a chance to wear), or some kind of household appliance (which makes me wonder what he is trying to tell me). Instead I picked out some wooden plaques with inspirational sayings that I want to put up in our house, a paua shell ring, a bracelet made of African paper mache beads, and another bracelet made of gold beads on piano wires. It's the kind of cool funky non-necessary stuff that I really appreciate and would not want to spend the money buying it myself with Christmas right around the corner.
