Whenever they have really good head control. My sons were about 4 months. WE would roll up a towel to help position them correctly.
My first baby wanted to be bounced all the time I do not recall what age I let her use the exercaucer. She is 3.5 months now.

Hmmm. When our baby could lift head unsupported. I think some recommend the infant be able to sit up.
P
5 months and sitting up with very little support.
About 4 1/2 months with blanks around them. By that age they are bored and this gives them a different view lol of the world!
When they are sitting up unsupported. Not sooner than that.
When they can sit up very well. Otherwise you have to sit there the whole time to ensure they don't flip their head too quickly and break their neck.
They need to be sitting up really well so they have the strength to sit in it.
Each kid was different. My son was about 3 months.. my daugther about 5.
mine were about 6 months. Seems later than some of the other moms who responded but I wanted to wait until my kids were able to sit up and move their head around good enough. Didn't want anyone flopping around.
I waited with my DD until she was able to sit up without needing constant support, and has full head control.
I put mine in it when she had head control. I put the feet down so it didn't wobble. I also wedged receiving blankets around her so she couldn't move around too much. I think she was about 3 months...
Both of my boys were about four months, and I only put them in for short periods.
I think I waited until 5 months for each of them. It's essential that they have complete head control.
As soon as they had really good head control. It was about 3 months with both.
ditto on what Ena said!
We don't have an exersaucer, but a jumperoo, which I think is comparable. My son started at 4 months, my daughter at 5. Wait until there is good head control and the feet aren't dangling anymore!
