Ok, this is a very very random question, but i was debating this with a friend the other day. Where do browse through ads most? I dont mean search for one specific thing, i mean just browse through things to see if anything catches your eye?
do you prefer to browse online on places like craigslist, backpage, classifieds, etc.
or
do you prefer to browse print? places like the newspaper, magazine, catalogs, ad bags, etc?
I don't. I google, consumer report, sign up for company emails/newsletters... but I don't browse.
I have a 30k list of things I'm planning to buy over the next 5 years (and about a 200k list of things I would like to). I certainly don't need to add to it.

I don't. I personally hate advertisements. I'll even skip over the "sponsored ads" on Google because I know they've been paid for.
If I'm seeking something out, it's usually via mailings that have come to our house (Kohl's catalog, for example). Otherwise, I flip right past most advertisements.

Maybe about 50% in print, 50% online. But if it wasn't for all the neighborhood stores sending out their fliers, it would be almost 100% online.

online... especially since I don't subscribe to the newspaper, and the only magazine we get is a cooking magazine that a friend gifted a subscription to me for.

I browse print ads if I'm just "browsing." If I go online I am looking for something in particular.

I do both. I always scan the Sunday paper because there are coupons in there, and I browse at the ads for that next week to see if there are any good sales. But if I am looking for something specific (i.e. toyboxes, outside swingsets, books, bedroom theme sheets, etc) I will look on Craigslist or ebay, sometimes half.com also. I get my textbooks on half.com because sometimes they are way less than half of bookstore prices! so I use multiple sources to find good deals! hope this helps~!
