My daughter has a school project that requires "small souvenirs" for the class. She wants a pig item, but we couldn't find any at Target or Party City. I'll try Michaels and Toys R Us today. I'd envisioned: pig erasers, keychains, or pencil-toppers; but I'll settle for stickers or cheap figurines. I'd like to keep it low-cost (back-up plan is to print coloring pages of pigs).
Where else would you look for such items?
Thanks!
Pigs must be a seasonal item... Michaels didn't even have simple stickers.
Cost Plus has marzipan in pig shapes (this must be a traditional marzipan shape because they have a wide variety of swine), so I went with that.
Thanks for the tips!
Do you have a Tractor Supply in your area? They have small figurines of farm animals.
I'll piggy back (no pun intended) on what Janis said: tractor or feed store.
Better yet....Walgreens has little tractors that come w/a cow and/or a pig.
Try looking for those boxed toys @ your big grocery store too.
That's where my son found some.
Also, in the Target $1 bin we did find a pig that made noise.
Grocery stores might also have pig stickers by their greeting cards.
Also, look through a magazine to cut out pictures.
Hope that helps.
I was going to suggest a party store.
Michaels should have sticker sheets. Might even have rolls with a few stickers per "sheet" and she could tear off a "sheet" for each kid.
So random I know this, but cost plus has some pig items. Not sure if it's what you're looking for...
