Where to Donate Hotel Toiletries

I traveled quite a bit over the last 12 months and collected a nice stash of hotel shampoos, conditioners, lotions, soaps and shower gel. I thought I'd donate it to a shelter or other nonprofit, but haven't found one yet that accepts the sample sizes. I have several full-sized shampoos, conditioners, soaps and toothpaste that I plan to donate, but wanted to unload all of it at one location. Does anyone know of a place that would take them in Dallas/Plano/Carrollton?

Thanks!
S.

So What Happened?

Genesis Women's Shelter's Website states that they don't take "sample" sizes. I contacted Ronald McDonald House and Family Gateway via email. RMH responded quickly that they would love the items. All the Family Gateway email addresses I used bounced back, so I will need to call them for future donations. I will also contact the other suggestions and see what their policy is on sample/hotel sizes. Thank you for the suggestions!

The shelter for abused women takes that stuff. I forgot the name, but I think it's off Lemon or Lovers

Try the Family Gateway, a shelter for homeless families with children; google the web site for info and contact number. Also, I think the shelter for battered women is either the Family Place or the Genesis shelter.

Please consider the Dallas Childrens Advocacy Center which is for sexually abused children.......often the families are in dire financial situations from loosing the bread winner and they are grateful for anything.....they are located on Swiss just off Washington.......

At the corner of Marsh and Trinity Mills, in the 24 hour parking lot, there are 2 large white bins. I drop off my stuff at both. One is for displaced children and the other is for Disabled Vets.

I think I've heard that Ronald McDonald house used to do take the hotel sizes as well.
