Where to Get These Books.

Right now I am borrowing the internal devices series by Cassandra Clare and I was wondering where I can by the whole series cheap. Walmart had them but when I went to get them they had only half of the books. Irritating. I want them all at one time. These books are going down fast. So anywhere that you know of have them cheap. Internet sites are welcome as my book buying is going to get crazy for a while.

What can I do next?

I buy all of my books from Amazon. If you're buying a lot, you might get free shipping if they qualify (over 25 gets free shipping on most items), and you can also buy used books as well. I have bought a ton of "used-very good condition" books for way cheaper than list price and never been disappointed.

I always look at Amazon first as they list many different retailers and offer both used and new items.

I have to say that I see a fair number of posts about how to get cheap books or exchange books for free etc and it always makes me think that authors need to make a living too... If no one pays much for their books, they can't keep writing. I know some goes to the publishers of course and those are corporations but it all trickles down.

Do you really need to buy? Take them out from the library - and if your locally library doesn't have what you want, you can request them from other libraries in their network, and pick up/return locally. Then you can watch for sales if you really feel you want to keep them from your collection. Keep an eye on Amazon because sometimes there are used books available. Also check for used book stores in your area - check on line.

I bought a box set for my friend for her birthday at half price books marketplace. They were brand new and it was cheaper than anywhere else.

I love that series. I've read mine through the library.

If I'm buying, I use Amazon or Hastings.

If I'm borrowing, the library.

I tend to buy for my Kindle though.
