Itis probably the priciest but we always favored Dallas World Aquarium downtown Dallas.
We spent some good times there :)
We're contemplating going to an aquarium tomorrow. 6 adults, 3 kids (7, 5 & 2 yrs). Which do you recommend and why? Dallas World Aquarium, Dallas Children's Aquarium at Fair Park, or the new aquarium at the Grapevine Mall?
Thanks for the info everyone! We ended up going to the Grapevine Sea Life Aquarium. It ended up being perfect for us. Fortunately it was not crowded today.

Dallas World Aquarium.
We have been to the Dallas World Aquarium and the Aquarium at Grapevine. I prefer the Grapevine Aquarium for kids. It is a bit more interactive and has a children's area where they can pet starfish and climb through tunnels. Just remember to take socks and buy your tickets online today for better pricing (http://www.visitsealife.com/Grapevine/).
Grapevine for sure! I have been to the one in Dallas, was not impressed at all and it is expensive. You are crambed in a small walkway upstairs and not much to see down. As for the Fair Park, we walked in and saw the place and left.
Have fun
Dallas World Aquarium by far! It is the most interesting - it's an aquarium and a rain forest - and they have good food!!
I have been to all three and I prefer the Dallas World Aquarium with my 4 and 3 year old.
Dallas World Aquarium - but don't get there when they open; wait a few hours for the crowds to thin out - like after lunch.
I haven't been to Fair Park but I've been to the other two. The Grapevine one is perfect for small children. It took us about an hour to go through. Dallas World Aquarium is better for a mix of kids and adults. It takes us about two hours to go through.
Definitely not Fair Park. I like the Dallas World Aquarium for my 4 year old. It has much more fish and other animals. The Grapevine Aquarium is much smaller, and yes, it is more interactive, but there is just not that much too it. It is also very confining once it gets crowded. The only advantage I see to the Grapevine Aquarium is that it is next to Legoland and you can do both if you want.
