Congratulations! Dr. Sullivan in Sarasota is WONDERFUL :) His practice includes other docs that are equally as good. The nurses and staff are a pleasure.
I just got a pos HPT and am looking for a dr. Matta and lemay delivered my daughter and was going to go back to them, but have heard their attitudes have changed a little. So, I called Alvarez's office in LWR, and they won't take me because they consider me High risk...so, are there any other drs our there? Who do you see, and do you like them? why? or why not?
Thanks

I just had my second baby via repeat c-section by Dr. Martin (Gulfcoast OBGYN). I think she is just great and was willing to work with us instead of telling us how it is.
I was a high risk pregnancy and I loved Dr. Rivera at LWR OB/GYN. He as always amazingly friendly and took all the time I needed at appts. ###-###-####
Dr Cohen is on Bee Ridge Rd. I went to him after 3 other drs (including LeMay & Matta) and he came HIGHLY recommended. Everyone I know who has had him (which is MOST people I know) LOVE him. Both my sister & sister-in-law (My sister was a VERY high risk - had high blood pressure, preeclampsia... a lot going on) and twins and delivered at 27 weeks via C-Section - the twins will be turning 2 in April!). I also have 2 cousins who have had him throughout all their pregnancies - one cousin has 2 children, the other has 4. :) He's on Bee Ridge Rd. Google Dr. Wayne Cohen and his # will come up.
