T.,
I have a friend who is wanting to sell her paid off 2002 Hundai Santa Fe suv. She will take 300 a month for a year and then the car is yours. If you are interested, let me know and I will give you her contact info.
I have tried about 5 different dealerships and cannot get approved for a car. I am at my wits end. Does anyone know of a good place to go with BAD credit. I can't pay more than 300 dollars a month and am very frustrated in this process. I have even considered paying an individual monthly or something. Please help... Carless in Garland

We had a friend get a car with not so hot credit through Lending Tree. Try doing that online...they have some companies that will approve loans even without great credit. Keep in mind that the interest rate may not be great though. She got a loan thru Lending Tree with Cap One Auto Finance I think...at like 14%interest and I know she got a pre-approved refinance offer thru a better bank in the mail and was accepted...she got the loan down to like 9% and got to skip a payment...not bad. Anyway, Lending Tree uses Cap One, Citifinancial, RoadLoans and some others. I would try them. Let me know how it works out!
Heya T.!
My hubby and I are in the same boat. We are going to get him a Kia Rio at southwest kia. They give you $3000 trade in for anything you can drag into the lot and they work with ppl with bad credit...Lord know if they are working with us they must be flexible!! The one thing helping us drag our butts out of the bad credit hole is my hubby has been at his job for over 4 years now...a lot of places look at that more than they even look at credit.
I hope this helps!! The Rio isn't fancy, but it gets REALLY good gas mileage, has 4 doors, 4 wheels, and an engine that runs...good enough for us!!!

Try Bankston Ford in Frisco, I was approved which my Credit was pretty bad cause of unpaid medical bills that my ex was suppose to pay.
I bought a 2005 Ford Explorer and gave them $500 down and traded my 2002 Ford Focus.
Good Luck and I hope they can help. Please let me know if you go and I will give you a contact name.
Holiday Chevrolet in Whitesboro approved me when I was swimming the same boat. There's also a place in Denton called Alessa Auto sales that has good used cars that I have heard of people being approved. But there's also many people on craigslist selling cars that will take payments. Keep your eyes open for great deals. Last month my neighbor had a yard sale for her bestfriend who had to move to New York ASAP, and sold her very good car for $500. Remember though, you do want to get out of the hole, start establishing good credit by going to a dealership.
