...what kind of celebrity would you be? I'd be the one without make up, holding coffee and walking my dog aka the Boring Celebrity. But I would be friendly, probably the one hanging out in the kitchen in my vintage Valentino with all the waitstaff instead of on the floor where the cameras are.
I'd be a terrible celebrity. Hate being the center of attention and don't do anything remotely controversial.
The only aspect of being a celebrity I'd appreciate is the ability to make a difference in the world with the extra money.
Otherwise, it doesn't appeal to me at all.

My daughter is actually friends with a few former reality "stars". They are actually pretty nice, low key people.
I'm hardly a celebrity but have done commercials and print ads/catalogs in the scientific and medical arena. Not sexy or red carpet but fun for sure!
***No Rhonda, not bragging at all. I live in the Los Angeles area (lots of entertainment and studios here) and because I am in the scientific industry, that's what I come across. I said it was fun and not sexy. So sorry, my answer seemed pretty clear to me. Feel free to PM me if you have a question though, it was just by chance I ran across this again :)

I would definitely use my fame for good but I also know I'd be one of those celebritys that would most likely be in all the magazine rags and give Lady Gaga a run for her money honey. I think celebrity is fleeting so why not enjoy yourself while your there and perhaps help some people in the process.

I would be like Oprah. But rather than just handing our cars--I would drive around and 'catch' people doing good. Like a man playing ball in the park with kids who are his own and other kids whose dads are not there--that man man would get a $10,000 check.
Or a girl/boy in the library of some inner city with loads of books trying to leave the ghetto--a 4 year scholarship to the college of her/his choice.
Or senior citizens at a church--I would drop in and take them all out to dinner with me--none of their children/granchildren and listen to their stories and then leave them with $300 gift cards to Lubys to take their families when they desired.

I think I would do ok being a C or D list celebrity. Enough where you get a little recognition, but the paparazzi aren't chasing you every day. No way I could handle being an A lister. I would not be able to handle the constant cameras or attention!

Nope. Would NOT want to be a celebrity. I don't want to live in a fish bowl.
My nephew played ball and we met players like Big Pappi, John Buck and others...and while they are sports celebrities...they like to be able to have dinner with their families - they will sign autographs, but man - they are humans and put their pants on like the rest of us!!!
If I were a celebrity? I would TRY to be nice. I would make sure that the money I made helped others and took care of my family and friends....but then again - I don't know how well I would handle people following my every move and taking pictures of EVERY. SINGLE. THING. I DID.
We have people like Snookie (is that how you spell it?) and Kim Kardashian that THRIVE on the drama and photographers....eewwwww...

I would HATE the glitz and glam, but I would live the moolah to funnel to worthy causes.
I'm thinking a black turtleneck, beret, sipping a cappuccino at a cafe with a troubled look and a furrowed brow type of celebrity....

You always have the most fun and interesting questions!
I think I would do OK as a celebrity. I am very confident in who I am, and I would LOVE having chefs and people like that at my disposal to be able to cook organic, healthy meals for my family. It would give me such a nice break! I would love the options that money would bring. I also love fashion, so I would probably do what all the celebs do and create my own line of clothing, makeup, etc.
Of course, just like other real celebrities, I would get sick of being in the spot light, but geez, just go to one of the secret hideaways they all do.
I think they key is really learning not to care what others think of you. Once you do that, celebrity or not, you are golden!
Most stars really are drama-free and boring. Kate Middleton (I happen to look a LOT like her, I get it all the time!) is boring, Kate Hudson is boring. I really cannot think of a non-boring one except Brittney, and she's just gross. But the media creates the drama for them. They just happen to go through a divorce or something just like a "normal" person, and the media makes us think it is the end of the world.
I would be boring also, as I am pretty low-key and family-oriented. But I would spice things up quite a bit if someone put cameras in my childrens' faces.....

there are few and i mean a hand full of actors/celeberties that I actually get pumped about.
Within the last couple of years I realized those ppl are all the drama geeks from HighSchool. They are so weird and "out there" with there way of thinking. How on earth would we worship them and give them the blown out credit that we do. They are just PEOPLE. . . most of them very good looking but still they are weird. Example:Tom Cruise - nuf said. Angelina Jolie - she carried a vile of blood durring her wedding, french kissed her blood brother! Weird freaky people. So why on Earth do we give them such credit?
I think I would hope I were a cute celeb like Kate Winslet or Christina Hendricks. Reality I lost 80lbs and people were shocked that I looked like Linda Blair (from excorsist ). Like strangers approached me. On facebook there was a time to place your celb look alike for your profile pic...my life long friends thought it was a pic of me!!! Silly but truly I know I am a janeane garofalo Hot mess of a person ;D Oh and I am again working on those 80lbs....gained them back with two pregnancies!!! Ugh oh well I know I can be a better me.

I would make a poor celebrity because I live a (mostly) drama-free life and hate attention. I'd always be on Fashion Police as the worst dressed.
But, I would love it for the money and ability to take care of my family without having to worry, and that I'd be able to contribute more to my favorite charities.
