You really ought to do some sorting before you start your laundry wxh time. You should wash jeans with other jeans. They will always fade. That's why a lot of people always look like they have on dirty clothes. Their tee shirts all look dingy and gray. It's be cause jeans are made with dyes that will always fade.
So sort your laundry before doing it. I have a hamper for dark (black, navy, red, dark brown) clothes, a hamper for light items I will always add bleach to, one for light towels (Hot water and bleach), one for dark towels (warm water), one for denim, one for perma press/colored garments, and one for bed linens.
This way fabrics that are similar in weight and you can use your dryer more effectively. If you are putting jeans in with normal perma press items you are cooking them a lot longer than they need to be in the dryer. The dryer would most likely be done in about 20 minutes with the lighter weight clothes being in there without a heavy pair of jeans in there too.
