I recently started doing the Zumab DVD at home. What is the best sneakers to do Zumba with. Can anyone recommend a specific brand that works for you

I always did/do home workouts barefoot, whether it's dancing, aerobics, yoga, kickboxing, whatever. Have you tried that? I find most "workout" shoes to be heavy, sweaty and restrictive.
I do Zumba barefoot.
I actually CAN'T do Zumba with shoes... I'd for sure turn my ankle. Barefoot is better than socks because you get more grip with bare feet than with socks.

Dance shoes work better than sneakers. You can buy them in any dance place. Not ballet shoes, they're kind of like sneakers... Usually black, and with a slight heel. Or go barefoot.
nike....color black and pink it is $38.00 and it is a hot sneaker it was sold out so i knew the lady wasn't crazy.. So i got the silver and pink instead and a smaller size .. i do zumba also.. I had issues with my feet. They were killing me in a zumba class because i didn't have proper sneakers. My foot started hurting in middle of class and nice lady gave me advice. I am a sneaker size 7and half. So a women in really good shape advised me to go to Modells and go to the girls section not the womans.. The girls section and get a 6 and half.. if i am a 7 and a half.. the sneaker fits so great and no more pain in my feet. check it out i can't hurt. when she told me to go to the girls section the womans section i thought she was crazy and when she told me to get smaller size than i am.. I thought she was nuts...
