Looking for Good Running/walking Tennis Shoes

I am looking for some good tennis shoes. I just bought some New Balance and spent $170 on them. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive shoe you could buy at the New Balance store. I was exercising and walking fast and after 1 hour my bottom of my foot right under my big toe area was so sore and raw. For spending this much money I didn't think I should be having this kind of problem. I would like to return them and find some that would be good. 10 Year Old with Bunionettes

My 10 year old daughter has bunionettes on the side of both feet that seem to painful for her. Her ortho said that he did not want to file them down because he did not want to mess with the growth plate. He suggested for her to get sneakers that are wider in the toe area. She has been wearing Stride Rite sneaks up until about three years ago and that is when we swtiched her to Nike. I believe that is when they started growing on her feet.
