Stay at Home Mom Seeking Arts/Crafts Ideas

Hi! I am having a great time staying home with my kids this summer. This is our first time together, I've worked all the years before. We're having a great time swimming, and attending movies at the theatre. But I was hoping to get some suggestions for arts/crafts. My kids like to play xbox & watch movies, but I don't want them doing too much of this. They like to draw but I was hoping to get some ideas of something we can ALL do together! I have a 9 yr old, 6 yr old, 5 yr old, 3 yr old, & 8 month old. Thanks!!!

What to Do with the Piles and Piles of School Artwork?!

I'm desperately trying to get a handle on the chaos in my house that has gotten out of hand since my fourth baby was born in September. I am able to organize most things pretty efficiently, but the one thing I have never been able to figure out how to deal with is the artwork and school papers that come home every day. Doll House- for Boys

Mamas & Papas- Can you recommend a doll house or its equivalent for a boy? Our son is 2.5 y.o. His early intervention teacher recommended we get one to foster pretend play. I am looking for something which is age appropriate and sturdy, and not terribly "pink" as toys which are geared for girls nowadays tend to be. Thanks, F. B.

Kids Play Places

My cousin and I are toying with the idea of opening a center where mom's bring their kids just to play. In the area where we live, there is nothing like this, other than the McDonalds play area. There isn't even a play area in our mall. Our plan would be for it to be a place where mom and child would stay - no drop-offs, not a daycare. How to Read to Your Kids

This is going to sound like a silly concern, as most of my concerns do! I'm a writer by trade and I love reading. I come from a long line of librarians and I've been waiting my whole life to read to my kid.
