Trush and Reaction to Diflucan
It all started with being very determined to nurse, then sore and bleeding nipples, pain and then thrush in/on the nipple. Got the two week treatment with Diflucan,, the APNC cream and gentian violet. My two week old baby at the time got an RX for nystatin, although she had no symptoms. Five days on the nystatin we figured that she was hurting from it, so the dr said to stop the treatment since she had no signs of yeast in her mouth. We did and things returned back to normal. I was still on Diflucan, but did not put the baby back to breast....
