Getting Depressed Wondering If I'll Be Able to Handle My Child...

I am so worn out, and I don't know if it's because my 13 week old daughter is completely "normal" in her behavior, or if she already has a "challenging" personality. I always heard from friends that the first 3 or 4 months of life were the hardest, but my mom and MIL both make comments such as "she really knows what she wants" and "she's going to be hard to discipline once she gets to that age" which really worries me. Some of the reasons our parents have been a little negative are that our baby - suddenly started refusing bottles when...

Help!! Breastfeeding Weaning Advice?

I want to thank you all for the great advice you've given! I have one more question I could desperately use some help on. My DS is 10.5 months old and has been breast fed since the time he was born. He took a bottle for the first two months, but then stopped and has never had once since. He'll take a sip or two out of a sippy cup and does pretty well with a cup, but really seems to have no interest in drinking fluids unless it's from the boob. I'd always thought I'd wean him by the time he was a year old and that year mark is...

Question About Born Free Bottles

I recently started using Born Free bottles with my 6 week old twin boys. Several times I've noticed that the nipple kind of collapses during a feeding - which is something the manufacturer says isn't supposed to happen. I can't see that it's causing a problem - it just seems weird since it's something they say specifically shouldn't happen. Has anyone else noticed this? Did you continue to use the bottles?

Best BPA Free Sippy Cup for My 16 Mo Old

Hi. My little one will beginning her new school in in the Young toddler room at the end of August and i wanted to get her some new sippy cups with soft spouts. She will need 1 for juice and 1 for milk. She is currenlty using the BPA free Born Free ones but they are so worn out and they leak all over. She is doing very well transitioning to an open faced cup but still relys on her sippy for drinking and relief from teething. Any receommendations?
