So my daughter last night woke me up saying her bottom hurt every time she sits down or gets up.I told her to go to sleep and she will feel better on the morning.Well it still hurts her.she did tell me he was riding bikes with her friend and she was riding her little sisters and every time she goes off the curb her butt would go up the hit the seat.Did she just bruise it? Or should she see a doctor?

What can I do next?

She's saddle sore. It happens when you ride a bike with a hard seat. The pain will subside over time. Don't worry. She doesn't need to see a doctor.

Widower:

Is your 9 year old a he or a she? You contradict yourself..."Well it still hurts her.she did tell me he was riding bikes with her friend "

Let's see here...you wouldn't go to the doctor after your child hit you in the eye...you wouldn't go to the doctor after you complained of ankle pain...you haven't said anything about getting your children counseling after their supposed loss of their mother....

So I'm guessing if we told you she was fine - you'd run her into the doctor. If we tell TO take her to the doctor, you will say "she's fine". Right? Sorry. But your child is telling you she is in pain and you ignore her...

1. She needs to see a doctor to see if he broke her tail bone (coccyx) if she was riding a bike that was too small for her and hit her tail bone just right...

2. she shouldn't be "jumpin' off curbs" if it causes her pain.

What will a doctor do if your child broke the coccyx? Nothing but recommend a donut pillow for her to sit on so it can heal and most likely give her an anti-inflammatory or some pain meds...

Overall, I'm sorry - I think you are a troll.

You know, people have been really nice to you for a good while now. But it's getting to the point that the majority of us don't believe you are anything but a troll. If you are for real, but just really "different", take her to the doctor. WE aren't doctors. We don' know what's wrong with your child's butt.

I agree with the others that you need to post just some normal and serious questions rather than this things that seem so ridiculous. You're not gaining respect here and your not going to get any serious attention from people who are busy and only interested in real advice to real questions. It's kind of insulting to us to post all these things, really.

I would find a chiro that works on kids. She may have knocked her tailbone way out of alligment.

It has to be hard to be a father in situations like this because you're totally on your own. Do you have some female relatives to talk to or a girlfriend? I'd take her to the doctor if you can't figure out what is happening. Good luck.

Ignore it.
Too much time on a bike when you are not use to it will make for a sore behind.
She can stay off the bike for a few days and then she'll be fine.
Next time she rides the bike she'll have toughened up a bit and won't be sore again.

Don't worry about it. 99.9% it is from the bike riding.
