Ok, I've gone long enough trying to figure these abbreviations out......What do they all mean like: DD
Seriously Mamapeidea, can we have a FAQ on abbreviations... in addition you CAN google them but here is a quickie.
"D" tyipcally means dear before a family Member ie DD dear daughter
SS would mean Step Son, SD, SM, SF would fall in line
LO Little One
MIL Mother In Law, SIL, BIL, FIL etc
Honestly, I just look up the ones I do not know then ask if needed.

SO = significant other
bff= best friends forever
bf = breast feeding
what else do you not know?
LO = little one
These are mine but everyone is a little different. Sorry if there are duplicates:
DS- dear son
DD- dear daughter
Bf- breast feeding, boyfriend, best friend, (bloody fool -in my head)
of coarse you have your S(insert letter) which is step or special.

I want to know what is LO?
Abbreviations always drive me nuts (perhaps because I feel stupid that I don't already know them). I had to google BTDT (been there, done that) because I kept seeing it places and was SO confused (not "significant other" confused either). Personally, I prefer to just write things out rather than typing in code.
