Adiana (Permanent Birth Control)

A vasectomy is still easier with faster results on your husband's end! I participated in a focus group about essure and adiana. It's a cool concept, but it takes awhile to be effective (if I remember -4-6 months). My husband had a vasectomy this summer, but even if he hadn't, I don't know how I feel about having a foreign object put into my fallopian tubes so scar tissue can form around it. It just sounds like there could be problems down the road!

I would have my husband get a vasectomy. After all these years of me being the one in charge of the bc, when we're done, it's his turn.

All right, all right, I was hoping other people would actually have REAL answers so I could rant about Top Ten Reasons Why I Regret Having My Tubes Tied When I Was Only 30......but since they HAVEN'T, I'll keep it to myself!

But when you see a black station wagon fly by you stuffed full of teenagers and Golden Retrievers and the sub-woofers thumpin' with a bumper sticker that says "SAVE THE TUBES", you'll know it's me!

I say make him get it done. Women have the babies and we have to recover from that.. let him take his turn ;) Still unfair though.. this won't affect his figure one iota :P
