Any Experience with Emory John's Creek?

We recently found out we are expecting our second child next March (we obviously just found out!) and need to find an OB. We had trouble conceiving and have been working with Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine who gave us a whole list of OBs in the area, but would like some personal recommendations. We live in John's Creek and are interested in delivering at Emory John's Creek or North Fulton Regional. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

Hi K.!

I saw your message regarding Emory Johns Creek. I have a wonderful OB located in Duluth, but she only delivers at North Side. Unfortunately I do not know which OBs are delivering there, but I can tell you that hospital is amazing. My neighbor delivered twins there and had such a wonderful experience. When I went to visit her I was blown away by the hospital and all that it had to offer to not only the baby and mother, but also the fathers. It seems like a wonderful place to deliver. I wish you the best of luck and I hope that this helps you some.

Hi K.! I delivered my first child at North Fulton and had a wonderful experience there. I delivered my third child (we have five boys) at Emory Eastside and also had a wonderful experience. Our other three were born at Northside which I have no complaints about either. North Fulton has a stainless steel water tub also if you are thinking about experiencing a water birth. Emory may have one now at this point, I'm not sure. Congratulations and good luck. K. P.

Hi K.,
First let me say congratulations! How exciting!

Secondly, I recently met an OB/Gyn in the Johns Creek area. Her name is Dori Kasparek. While I haven't used her service yet ( I've been using the same OB/Gyn for tha past 20 years) I am planning to switch to her. She hosted a seminar for teenage girls and their mothers that my 14 year old and I attended. She was so personable and so thorough in her presentation. I was so impressed with her that I have decided to schedule an appointment instead of with my current OB/Gyn that I have been happy with for years. Anyway, hope it helps.
Good luck!
L.

Not sure if you are aware that you could deliver in the brand spanking new Northside-Forsyth Women's Center in Cumming. It will deliver its first baby in August and rumor has it that this Cumming facility will become the premier baby facility.

As far as an OBGYN: for the last ten years I have been using OBGYN of Atlanta, which has an office in Johns Creek. I know they have privileges at NOrthside as that is where I delivered my 8 month old son last Nov. They may have priveleges elsewhere. Their number is ###-###-#### (main number) and in Johns Creek ###-###-####.
