Any Experience with "True" Brand Elliptical Machines?

I am responding on behalf of my wife. I actually work for the largest exercise equipment retailer in the country. True makes great treadmills, but their ellipticals not so great, in my opinion. We used to carry their elliptical, but it never sold. The most important thing in purchasing an elliptical is for the customer to test them out. They all have a different feel to them, so you want to find one that is comfortable to you. Our most popular selling elliptical is Life Fitness and Octane fitness. They have a very smooth feel and very few service issues. If I were you, I would find your local exercise equipment dealer and try them all out in the store. Don't know about True, but I have a Precor that I love.

I have one. I love it!!! I would consider it one of the best things I ever bought for myself. It is great not only to help stay in shape, but also for stress relief!

I've never had a True elliptical, but their treadmills are always ranked high and are one of the best.
