M.P.
My 14 yo granddaughter got an Ipod. The more advanced one. I think I'd love it if she'd let me use it. LOL
I got a blender and a live Bjork DVD, but I am loving what my kids got! My oldest wanted the game Just Dance, I'm loving it! And we got rock band 3. What fun!
Did any of you end up we any kids gifts you love?

I've been having fun with Rock Band 3 too!
Other than that, my favorite gift is the one from my MIL. She cooked for me, and now I have many jars of vegetable soup, chili, and some freezer bags of homemade meatballs so I have several weeks of easy dinners once I head back to work after the break.
My husband gave me a glass jar filled with handwritten memories from our 27 years together and a stack of cards to add to it. Made me cry. Best gift ever.
ALL of my kids (and their significant others) made it for x mas. We had our dinner on x mas eve, and then were up TOO late playing scrabble and trivial pursuit and talking and laughing.
They all helped play 'santa' for shannon (my special needs kiddo). Shannon woke us all at about 6:30 AM...I got coffee and breakfast breads going. We all watched her open each present, and took such delight in HER joy!
I got many thoughtful gifts from the kiddos, too numerous to mention... But the biggest/best was that they were all here!
The afternoon, we snacked on leftovers.
The day was perfect...just too damn HOT!
merry merry
My kids feel very loved...they are very happy with the gifts they received...
I got a waffle iron that turns over (like you see in the hotels) and we've made omelettes, hash browns and such in it!! YUM!!!
I was truly surprised to open the KitchenAid mixer I got!! That was a total surprise.
My MIL had a tough time as it was her first Christmas without her husband. We sat a place at the table for him and shared memories.
Everyone was stoked over their gifts! Tyler got a new tablet that he wasn't expecting. The boys got their XBOX One to share. Guess this means I'll move the XBOX 360 with the Kinect to our room so I can exercise to it! LOL!!
We had the whole family here at our home. It was busy and fun! Lots of laughter was heard throughout the day.
We had a great holiday!
I bought Mophie chargers for all 3 of us. They are a backup charged battery that you can put in your purse and if your phone, Ipad or laptop needs an extra charge, it will get you back in business. They have 2 ports so if you have a friend who needs some extra charge, you have the option.
I got a new toaster oven and hubby gotcha waffle iron!
I bought several items from Chef's catalog this year. Great quality things for the kitchen. They were all a hit.. the biggest hit.. stainless steel spoon/straws for smoothies and shakes.
I found a handmade cloisonnaie (sp), Delta Zeta box for my daughter's DZ pins and she loved it. I also gave her the new card game the college kids love... Cards Against Humanity. My hubby and I completely caught her off guard and gave her a diamond necklace from Tiffany's. When she saw the blue Tiffany bag and box she was speechless!!! She's never speechless!!
Today is her 20th birthday and we just got back from a nice lunch with her and her boyfriend. She is going to dinner with 10 friends tonight and most are sleeping over at her condo...
Other than that, we got some nice gifts, gift cards and candy. Godiva is a favorite and even though I am not a sweets person, I do love a good piece of Godiva!
Everything everyone got is great!
Our son got a Straight No Chaser Christmas collection and some cool robotics kits and an iPad Air 2.
I got a new laptop (my old one was over 5 years old, gee I'm finally off of Windows XP ) and for my birthday (day after Christmas) I got an iPad mini - that was so unexpected!
Christmas day (after dark) we went to see the light display at Norfolk Botanical Gardens - it's always a beautiful sight!
Well, my daughter got a Frozen karaoke machine... While I think it's fun now, it is quickly losing it's novelty... Lol.
Thaaaaaanks Grandpa! ;)
I got a new phone, which is awesome because my old one was having major glitches. We also bought Monopoly Junior, so my DD can play with us instead of being on somebody's "team" when we play. :)
DD got Goldiblox's Zipline for Christmas, which she loves. And we all got How To Train Your Dragon 1 and 2. Santa did good.
I also got DH a wireless printer and a FlexBrew coffee maker for his office.
Oddly enough I am the only person to receive expensive electronics this Christmas! I got a new lap top because my old one was dying. Everyone else was quite happy with their gifts.
My daughter got a Keurig for her dorm room. If I didn't already have one of my own I would be super jealous.
My oldest got some "How to Draw" books from my mom and is loving them.
Santa also brought Magformers, Imaginext figures, and additional train tracks and trains for their sets.
My kids played just dance with their Mimi on thanksgiving. She had a blast and wanted to know how much one of those Xbox thingies is.
My nephew is in from out of town-first time I got to see him since he was born a year ago. Awesome gift!!
I got a Keurig, some jewelry, etc.
I bought myself I museum membership and took my nephew (and his parents and my kids, lol), and ordered myself a new purse and wallet I'm pretty excited for!
Next big purchase is the gym membership!
Everyone is happy here with their stuff.
I will say, in only 2 short days our phone data is burning UP---hmmmm--wonder if that has to do with my son getting a phone--ya think? Grrrr.....
Otherwise, a wonderful holiday and a house filled with family!
both boys and the grandbeagle were here for two straight days! that was the best.
and we all were awfully happy with our gifts this year. it was an awesome christmas. my younger's main gift was a gaming helmet, my older got a collapsible stool to spare his back when he's playing the upright bass, my dh got a beautifully matted and framed poster of the grand tetons from our trip this year, and i got the latest kindle fire.

I am loving that The Big Man in The Red Suit brought my 7 year old daughter her very own folding table top easel & a grip of canvas' of all sizes & most importantly her own brushes & paints so she can stay out of mine!
Smart Santa!
The verdict is still out on my ZAGG Folio keyboard/case thingy for my ipad...it seems to be somewhat suspect with its consistency on keeping connected...but its cute & purple & great when it works...I love hands free reading! :)
I got the movie The Giver which I really wanted. So that was great. My husband also bought and wrapped up new head lights for the van which he "was sure" would surprise me. Um yep they did lol. He also (and this one just made me mad) bought a new Garmin that he wanted. Wrapped it up and put my name on it. Nope didn't love and or want it. Which I told him 3 months ago when he started talking about getting it. I hate Garmins. I explained then and each time he brought it up exactly why. So I was surprised and pissed when I opened it. He asked me later if I liked what he got me. I couldn't even answer. But I think next year I'm going to get him new blades for my mixer.
