We are with Texas Children's Pediatrics Sugarland. They have 6 pediatricians on site (I think). We use Dr. Ho and Dr. Black and have been very happy with them both. My son had jaundice as a newborn, so we saw them often very early. He also has eczema and they have been great helping us treat him. I would highly recommend this group. Their office is easy to get to (HWY 59) and I generally can get in quickly when he's sick. My son is now almost 8 months old and this group was recommended to us by several friends with infants and older children.
Good luck and welcome to the area!
We love Dr. Raymond Kahn! I believe he is in Missouri City, just east of Sugar Land on Hwy 6. He is very matter of fact, but has a great "bed side manner" and is wonderful with the kids. My daughter does not like most doctors (bad experience or two) and loves Dr. Kahn. Almost everyone I work with takes their child to him or someone in that office. Congratulations on your baby!

"Thank you so much for all your recommendations. I've decided to go with Dr. Gmoser for a few reasons: *so many positive reviews about him & his office; *less than a mile from our house; *privileges at TCH. Plus, I spoke with Judy just a little while ago & she was so helpful."
Dear T.,
I highly recommend Dr. Dean Gmoser! He is wonderful! I innerviewed him prior to my first son being born. We ended up going with him and have never been disappointed. I have two boys 18 months apart that are now 7 and 9 years old. He was there the day the boys were born and daily for their hospital stay. His office is great. I can call in at 6:30 in the morning and hear from Dr. Gmoser by 7:30 and I am seeing him by 8 to 9 that same day. His only day off is Thursdays. In all these years we have seen a few associates in his abscence, but for the most part we always see him. Some of the other associates in his office are part time, so I would recommend going with one that is there 4 out of the 5 days like Dr. Gmoser. They have Saturday hours for sick kids only and the Doctors rotate coverage for that. We have had to see specialists...ie: GI, allergists, ENT's, etc. and he has always gotten us to the best specialist in the area! We have been very pleased! His referral specialist that sets the appts., xrays, etc is named Liz and she is wonderful and very professional and gets you were you need to be in a very timely mannner. Well run, clean office! Nurses are great! Dr. Gmoser always takes the time to listen and answer my "notebook" of questions. I always feel informed and that the boys have been completely checked and cared for! I think you would be very pleased with this practice. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me. I would be happy to answer any of your questions or concerns!

My oldest is 17 years, then almost 14, then 11years...Gmoser has been our pedi since they were born. Nice offices, helpful and friendly staff, good doctors. Kahn is better with kids than adults but still a good doctor. Atlas is great if you prefer a woman. Gmoser is just an all around good doc. No complaints.
I heard about my current pediatrician because I knew like 5 people who were all useing the same office. Its called Town Center Pediatrics and they are basically behind Methodist hospital and to the side of the Sugarland mall. I have been happy with all of the Dr.'s I've had experience with there. They are all women and mothers. The doc we see is Dr. Todd, I really like her ability to listen and attention to detail. I like a Dr. who is also a Mom, they have a compassionate since and ability to understand your knowledge of your child. Good luck on your search, but no matter which doc you choose in this practice I feel that you would be good hands.
Any pediatrician within the Texas Children's Pediatrics of Sugar Land is good. We use Dr. Danziger within this practice and have been VERY pleased. We used two pediatricians before finally finding her and we are so happy we are finally settled. They are off of the Southwest Freeway and Williams Trace, so it is a very convenient location. 9 times out of 10 we are in a room within 10-15 minutes and back out to our vehicle after the appointment within an hour. The phone number there is ###-###-####. I hope this helps. Good luck with your search.
My kids have been seeing Dr. Raymond Kahn since my son was born 14 months ago and he is wonderful. There are other doctors in the practice as well and all of them are great! The staff is really efficient, you always get seen same day if you call before the late afternoon and they even have sick hours on Saturday mornings. Dr. Kahn is affiliated with TX Children's hospital. I interviewed him before I made the switch (I wasn't happy with my daughter's pediatrician, so we switched when my son was born) and was super impressed with him. He has been practicing here forever....a friend of mine had him as a pediatrician when she was a kid and now her kids go to him too! My son has had some serious health issues and he has just been fantastic at explaining everything, giving his advice when decisions needed to be made and providing articles and other references to help us in making those decisions. I can't say enough good things about him. He is actually located in the Capital One building across from the Home Depot/Target) in Missouri City on Hwy 6 (near the intersection of Hwy 6 and FM 1092). It's not Sugar Land, but it's close enough I would think, depending on where you live. Good luck!
